How Rowmates uses your information.

What Rowmates collects

We collect the information needed to create an account, organize a booking, let guests choose seats, issue entry links, and keep payment status accurate. This can include:

• Your name, email address, and session information.
• When you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier, name, email address, and profile image.
• Booking details such as the movie, theater, showtime, seat layout, invite settings, ticket or receipt image, entry-code contents, and guest seat choices.
• Payment status and Stripe Checkout references. Rowmates does not receive or store full card numbers.
• Basic technical and security information used to operate the site, prevent abuse, and diagnose errors.

Ticket images

Ticket QR codes are decoded in your browser. When you create a booking, Rowmates may store a compressed copy of the first ticket or receipt image with that booking so the organizer can review it later.

How information is used

We use information to provide the booking and seat-selection service, authenticate users, process or reconcile payments, issue and validate entry links, prevent duplicate claims and abuse, provide support, and maintain the service.

Service providers

Rowmates uses service providers to run the site and its features, including Render for hosting, Stripe for payments, and Google for sign-in. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Sharing inside a booking

People with a booking link can see seat availability and shortened guest names. Organizers can see the booking details they manage. Invite-only bookings may compare a guest's signed-in email address with the organizer's allowlist.

Retention and deletion

We keep information while it is needed to provide and secure the service. Deleting a booking removes its associated seat records. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of account information, email us at the address below.

Security

We use signed sessions, encrypted HTTPS connections, verified Google identity tokens, signed Stripe webhooks, and access checks. No online system can guarantee perfect security.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time. Organizers control what booking and ticket information they add and can delete bookings they own.
